Richard has over 20 years’ experience in the water industry working with water companies and their commercial clients covering all aspects of leakage and network management. His experience has involved hands on operational roles from technician through to senior management level. He co-founded and built a successful commercial leakage contracting company with a turnover of £1.5M per year. He has also held management positions in Thames Water, Mouchel & Premium Bermad UK.
As a business owner in the plumbing industry, I have worked across all aspects of plumbing, with leak detection and repair always forming a significant part of that work.
Over time, the frustration of not being able to reliably locate small or difficult leaks led me to search for a better solution.
That search led me to Ferret Technology in the UK, where I immediately recognised the value of a more precise and controlled approach to leak detection.
After introducing the Ferret system into my own business, the results confirmed its effectiveness in locating leaks that traditional methods often miss.
I am now proud to represent Ferret Technology as the authorised distributor for New Zealand and Australia.
Through Ferret Systems, my focus is on bringing more accurate, less invasive leak detection solutions to plumbers, contractors, and property owners across New Zealand and Australia.
